In the trailer, there’s a scene where someone sneezes, followed by a cut to blood splattering everywhere. It’s a Shounen Jump series, and for the first time, the main character is 32 years old. He has a hidden identity that he needs to keep secret. It’s similar to stories where you become what you hate, like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, and Chainsaw Man. The director has extensive experience with popular shows, and the production is handled by Production I.G. Also opening song is by Yungblud, and ending song is by OneRepublic. Which are one of the best songs in this season of anime.

Kaiju No. 8 seems like the kind of show that will satisfy your craving for serious action, and it certainly does. However, when you watch it, you’ll find there’s much more to it. The show blends fun and comedic reactions, reminiscent of Little Witch Academia. While it has a serious concept and setting, it balances this with a mix of seriousness and general fun. This blend of styles and tones keeps the series engaging throughout.
