When it comes to the anime’s opening song, its visual elements are particularly striking. Unlike most anime, this opening eschews traditional background art in favor of real-world scenery—and there’s a fascinating reason for this. The anime is a reverse isekai, so the characters appear as they would if they were transported into our world. This clever twist sets the tone for the entire series.

The opening is filled with creative ideas, like using a Ferris wheel as a microphone. It brilliantly sets up the viewer’s expectations, providing a sneak peek into the show’s unique blend of reality and fantasy. One of my favorite parts is the lyrics: “The surface I painted will be crushed.” This line resonates deeply, as it feels like a metaphor for breaking through façades and confronting reality head-on.

Overall, the song and animations are outstanding, capturing the essence of the show perfectly. The song featured in the opening is “Gifted / ギフテッド,” performed by Wanuka (和ぬか). It’s a perfect match for this innovative and captivating series.

7.WIND BREAKER

Where the average scores are the lowest, but the fights are the strongest. Furin High School is renowned as a super school of delinquents. However, Furin High School has become a group that protects the town called the “Chime of the Wind Breaker” – Bofurin. The heroic legend of high school delinquent Sakura begins here! This opening is mainly carried by the song. The animated scenes are from the story itself and add nothing new, but they provide everything you need to know about this anime. It sets the tone with rock music and fight scenes. The song’s name is “Absolute Zero” (絶対零度), and it is sung by Natori.

6.Bartender: Kami no Glass:

What’s about this show?

At Eden Hall, each glass has a story. A quiet bar lies tucked away in the streets of Tokyo, and it seems only the most desperate souls burdened by their own troubles manage to find its doors. But after a glass of God poured by the brilliant bartender Ryuu, they leave renewed. Ryuu has a gift—he knows how to soothe the soul with the perfect drink. Who will he meet next? (Source: Crunchyroll)

The opening starts with a chill vibe and maintains it throughout. The anime itself has a chilly vibe, and the song does justice to it. It is a very good feel-good anime song to start a feel-good anime. It’s a song you can listen to to refresh your mind. The animation also adds nothing new to the opening; it consists of scenes from the anime. Basically, you get what you expect.

Song: “Stardust Memory”

5.Ookami to Koushinryou: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF

Now, the once-lonely merchant and the once-lonely wise wolf begin their journey north. (Source: Crunchyroll)

The opening starts with some watercolor palette frame shots, setting up the tone with beautiful musical instruments and a lovely song. The song is perfect for the Spice and Wolf anime. It sets the vibe with great visuals, showing what you are going to see, and that expression from Holo. It is the perfect song for a feel-good fantasy show.

Song: “Tabi no Yukue” (旅のゆくえ)

Singer: Hana Hope

4.Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi

It’s a dark, mysterious show. The song has a dark atmosphere that matches the show. The visuals include some degenerate elements, but that’s part of a character from the show, and it’s what will attract viewers. Other than that, there’s nothing more to say except that it looks cool.

Song: “Hazard Symbol” (ハザードシンボル)

Singer: Yuyu (遊遊)

3.Boukyaku battery

What’s about this show?

Iron-armed pitcher, Haruka Kiyomine, and the shrewd catcher, Kei Kaname, AKA the “Skilled General,” were considered to be an unrivaled, monstrous battery duo in the middle-school baseball world. They were both scouted by various powerhouse high schools across the nation, but somehow, they both ended up at Tokyo Municipal Kotesashi High School, which wasn’t known for baseball at all. On top of that, other star players who had lost to that duo in the past and completely strayed from baseball coincidentally also enrolled at that school, and…

Their meeting sets everything into motion once again.

Their high school baseball story begins now!

In a sports anime, it’s common for the themes to revolve around friendship and togetherness. The opening song sets the same vibe and goes along with it. Additionally, the song title “Lilac” signifies “friendship” in the language of flowers. It basically shows what you are going to see and is a pretty perfect opening song.

Song: Lilac

Singer: Mrs. Green Apple

Just a few seconds into the opening song, the visuals kick in. The various types of titles will catch your attention. Additionally, one of the goons is controlled by hand, and there’s a kind of singer in the background. The direction for this is incredible. It hypes you up without spoiling the anime. The ending song is also great.

Song: Preview of me

Singer: Tatsuya kitani

1.Kaiju no.8

Man, this is some opening. The visuals, the music, the CG, the art style—everything is on point. At first, it goes slow, then the beat drops and the colors turn into monsters. This is really something. Normally, an anime title appears at the midpoint followed by the credits, but here everything ends and then the title appears, getting you ready to watch the show. Kaiju No. 8 really invested a lot in their anime. It’s produced by X and features popular bands from abroad. The ending song by OneRepublic adds another great vibe..

Song: ABYSS

Singer: YUNGBLUD

Apart from everything anime opening is great when they don’t use any visual from the anime and use just abstract visual  and kaiju no.8 or sentai daishikakku done the same. So, the opening goes hard. Their Songs and visuals are top notch.
